Recap & Saying “Goodbye” to 2023
Happy 2024! Here’s a little recap of 2023 🗓️ for me here at San Antonio Ashiatsu Massage. 👣
I had a total of 492 appointments, for a grand total of 696 hours of barefoot massage time. The most popular session length is the 90 minutes session.
(These “feet-on” hours do not include the months that I worked a second job while I learned how to run & grow my own practice! if I were to go back and recalculate I’d probably reach over 900 hours of total massage time.) 🪴
🤓 I’ve taken 12 continuing education classes. (TexasAshiatsu, Deepfeet Texas, and TLC Massage School are some of the locations I’ve trained with.)
My favorites were the cadaver class in Austin, and the class with CBM which taught me how to use the strap! (That strap is a hand saver for sure!)
📚From those 12 classes I’ve earned 51 credit hours (CEU’s) and spent an additional 40+ hours outside of class practicing what I learned. (I am certain it’s more than 40 hours but I only officially logged that many.)
Some things that AREN’T calculated here are the hours spent creating content for social medial, writing newsletters and blog posts. Plus the amount of time spent networking, listening to audio books and podcasts about business, finances, and mental, emotional, and spiritual growth. Attending networking events and workshops, luncheons, and coffee meetings. Listening to people MUCH smarter than me! Planning, plotting, budgeting, searching, and researching. The amount of YouTube I’ve watched to learn about Canva, about networking, about anatomy, about business, about marketing, about Google ads, and so much more!!
The amount of growth and gratitude I have can’t be quantified on my little spreadsheets. I am very hard on myself, always questioning whether or not I’m doing enough? Have I truly helped my clients? Am I learning enough? Do I even know enough? But looking back and seeing the progress I’ve made definitely helps me realize that I have been working hard. And I’m very proud of what I’ve accomplished in this short time out on my own. I’m also immensely humbled to have touched so many lives and to be allowed to be a part of your journey. ❤️🩹
Here’s to more growth, learning, success, and abundance in 2024. 👣
I’d LOVE to hear from you!! Here’s a little guide that I used to help me streamline my goals, accomplishments, and achievements for the previous and upcoming year. Share as much or as little as you’d like!
